Bruno:
I feel like a dick knowing that it took someone's death for me to come back to HoD in a long while.

Don't worry brother. To me, it's the fact that you came back for him that makes it even more special. That to honor him, people who did not know him much or were away from the House of Death take the time to bid a last farewell to him.

I'm sure he will prepare the best party ever for all of us in Valhalla. And when we meet again he'll say "You shouldn't have made such a big deal out of it" :) :'(

Jael Pendragon:
Fare thee well, Joro. Your journey has taken you where we can't reach you, may your spirit roam free in the realms beyond.

OlliWar:
These are shocking news!
Though I didn´t really knew him by person, I´m deeply touched by all those posts that come from true hearts :'(

Let thy spirit fly
May valkries carry you

IronZephyr:
Oh my God - I just learned the news...

I'm just so sad to know we have lost one of our dear brothers. :'( He was so young, so true - is just so hard to wrap my brain around this. My heart goes out to his family and to all of his friends who will miss him. "Spirit" was his name in here and forever will his Spirit remain here with us who loved him. Here are a few photos from my own archives:

From the 2008 MCF

The House of Death party last summer in Bucharest

Fly away to a rainbow in the sky, brother... we will miss you, Joro!!!

Yes, it's really amazing how much you get to know a man from pictures and the words of his true friends.

jimmortal:
This dear friend is how we'll say goodbye,
until we meet in the sky

Udo:
Olli is so right...

Reading all these posts and seeing all these pictures is so touching. It makes me feel lost, sad, yet proud and happy at the same time.

And it makes me realize that he is forever gone.

Things like this I will never understand for there was no reason to take this young man's life away way before his time.

"Thy name shall never die."

Udo

texas tammy:
it saddens me to say that i didnt know him.... it saddens me more that i will never have the chance here on earth..... i am so thankful to all of you for posting pictures and comments on here about him, so that i can somewhat get to know what a wonderful person he was and what a difference he made. in your rememberances, you bring him to life for those of us that were not fortunate enough to have known him ourselves. he will live on... and he will be waiting for all of you, his friends, when you move past this world.... i am sure he will have a HUGE, HOD party waiting when everyone gets there!!!!

hendy:
The funeral is today. In a few minutes I'll be on my way there.
I don't want to be sad. I don't feel like mourning. Today I'm going to see all our mutual friends dressed in black. The hell, we wear black all of the time anyway!!! But this time we won't go to a kick ass concert and have a great time. We won't be telling jokes and laugh till we have tears in our eyes. But we will have tears in our eyes....

I don't want to be sad. I want to have fun with him like we always used to. How can one accept that he's no more? I have no idea...........

Thank you for all the wonderful posts, my friends! Be sure that his family will appreciate them in this hard moment.

Time to go.

texas tammy:
dont cry because you are sad.... celebrate his life and that you got to be a part in it..... many hugs and kisses and just know that you all have the support of all of us who wont be there .... draw strength from one another, and dont forget to celebrate him.... laugh as you share memories of him and the times you all had..... from the things i have read here about him, he would love that..... :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

get the group together there and have that huge metal group hug in his honor.... you could all use it while you are going through this time.....

nothing more I can add...your words made me cry (again)
two nights I can't sleep, two days I'm trying to keep myself busy with all kind of shit, but all the time my mind tries to understand the fact he's gone...I'm listening to Pink Floyd (The Wall) now - one of his favorite bands besides Manowar...Last night I was looking at the chat history of my ICQ messenger - month or 2 ago we were making plans about going to MCF, about attending other Manowar shows...some time ago we were making plans that we definitely have to attend Roger Waters when he tours again...it was confirmed these days - he'll tour again, European dates will be confirmed soon...but we will attend it without Joro...well, at least he'll meet Rick Wright before us (Pink Floyd keyboardist...he died few years ago)

...it's I nightmare...all the time I hear the voice of Joro's father (his phone call to me) in my head..."Alex, it's Joro's father...Alex....Joro passed away last night..." It's not something you can easy cope with...it's not something you cope with at all, it's not like your favorite team lost very important game, it's something that changes you and the world around and there is no coming back and there is nothing you can do
It's not fair, NOT FUCKIN FAIR!!! :'(
There's no fairness in this fuckin world!
(well, knowing Joro's sense of humor, I guess he would add the words of Terry Pratchet's Death (the person): "THERE'S NO FAIRNESS...JUST ME")

p.s. all the day I regret I didn't go to Sofia...maybe it was for good or for bad...but stiil, all the day I make big mistakes at work and can't concentrate...

texas tammy:
my heart goes out to you alex.... keep him in yours, and he will never be fully gone, okay? i will be sending loving thoughts and full support your way, and know that there is no "right" or "wrong" way to deal with anything like this.... it is all about getting through it the best way you can.... let it make you stronger, and figure out a way to make it count for something.... :-* :-* :-*

wish i could do more to help..... :(

soniawarrior:
I'm so, so sorry! :'(
I didn't meet him in person, but he was a brother, a brother of metal! And reading all of your post, I'm sure that he was a true and beloved warrior!
I'm truly sad for all of you my dear brothers and sisters!
But one thing we know for sure... we will all meet one day in Valhala! Stay strong!
Rest in Peace, Joro!

Udo:
Alex stay strong.

Do not regret not going to Sofia - Joro will never know. It is your decision how to say good-bye - there is not a right or a wrong one. What counts is what is in your heart - and I know that Joro will always be in your heart - and I believe that is something that he knows...

Hail Alex - we love you - because you are Alex - the same reason Joro loved you.

Your friend and Brother Of Metal,
Udo
