hendy:
My dear friends... my heart is heavy to have to tell you such terrible news all the fun we had together last night......
Our brother and my dear friend Joro (Spirit) has passed away yesterday after a long fight with illness...
He was 31 years old.
:'( :'( :'(
R.I.P.

DD:
Oh, Marti. He was such a great guy! It's not fair! It just isn't fair!

Milésio:
oh shit...

Lyrian:
Such terrible news.. I cant find other words to say :(
May he rest in peace

bumblebee:
A hero was he
Touching all our lives
As if he lived and died
In a single moment
Great were his deeds
All his words were true
He lived and died
A man of honor
He paid with his life
For his life was the price
To pass the gates immortal
Thy journey begins
With sword in the wind
Stay thy hand rest thy command
For Odin's call was heard above them all
Thy name shall never die!
Long shall we remember
He who walked the road of danger
Master of revenge
Death's no stranger
Blood and death lived on his sword
The god of war his only lord
Into the depths of hell
Go all he fell
Take thy shield take thy sword
All thy weapons to the sky
Ye shall need them when Odin bid thee rise
For none but the brave
Shall rise up from the grave
To see the Valkyries fly
And so it was by the hand of Odin
Did the immortal warrior pass through
The gates of Valhalla and into legend.
Rise brother rise pass Valhalla's gates
Here great warriors await
Reborn from thy steel
All thy wounds be healed
From the earth to the sky
Now the son of Odin rise!
Take thy place among the kings
For thy soul shall never die!

Last night we lost a true brother and friend :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Spirit/Joro
(one of his last pictures - last summer in Bucharest, with me and Donnie)

AndreiVajnaII:
Oh my! What terrible news! I'm so sorry to read this.... I've met him last year in Bucharest, he seemed such a good guy, like all true ManOwaR fans. My condolences go out to his family, to those who love him and all his friends.
His Spirit lives on!

Eden:
omg, im speechless..i never even knew he was sick, only now checking his posts on facebook through google translator i can understand...i never thought, so sudden
i never really spoke to him a lot but we exchanged a few words from time to time, and never got the chance to meet him as well as the rest of you..i hate speaking about him as 'was'...
may he rest in peace, dear manowar brother..

Oh friend of mine, how to say goodbye
This was your time, but the armor you wore was mine
I will not rest until hector's blood is spilled
His bones will all be broken dragged across the field
This dear friend is how we'll say goodbye
Until we meet in the sky

Milésio:
He was really ill, but fought until the end. Maybe those closer to him will, sometime, talk about him a bit more. He surely deserves a massive tribute.
He was a brother, he was "one of us", and I had the privilege of meeting him at MCF. He was Manowar through and through and a great guy through and through.
This. fucking. sucks.

DD:
Joro was a true warrior & fought to the end. I've never heard him complain or whine.

Northern Son:
My mind still can't (or don't wanna) except what happend!
Rest in peace, Joro! You were one of the most amazing guys i ever met, true friend and such a good person!
We will miss you, so much! But we will never forget you!
Your spirit will live on!

TB Fearless:
Words escape me to tell what goes on my mind after reading this.
Joro, you were an great person, rest in peace brother.
For his close friends and relatives, my sincerest condolences...

carmen:
What sad new and shock. I´m sorry so much, RIP Joro. I knew him, when I went to my 1º MCF and we were seeing the concert in the row . Very good guy and polite, even I have in my newsboard his postcard of Bulgaria that he send me.
Today my prays go for him.
A big hail to Joro, a true warrior!!

Petra:
OMG - I can´t believe that!!! That´s so terrible... OMG

Matthew:
That's horrible news. My condolences go out to Joro's family and friends. :(

Tigercat:
I am so sorry to hear the terrible news.
Condolences to the family and friends.
Rest in peace brother, true warrior! :'(

Bruno:
Talk about a shock... I didn't know him personally too well, but it was obvious from his presence on the forum and from the pictures we got to see that he was a great person and a proud member of the Manowar community.
If there is anything we can do as a tribute or an homage to his family, please let us know.
Requiescat in Pace, Joro!

gwpower:

HE LIVED AND DIED A MAN OF HONOR!
Sad, sad, sad and terrible!
I just can`t believe it! He was really truest of the true! Didi is more than right!
His spirit was strong, his spirit is strong, his spirit will never die!
Rest in peace, brother!
HAIL!
P.S. When the phone rang, I thought, that it was him - when I heard "It is not Joro" I still thought, that he was joking, because his father`s voice is very close to his...He left a list with phones the people, to whom his parents to call...Rare are men like him! ALL HAIL! For me was an honor to know him!

Xoan is right and I`ll make his own thread in "warriors" section. I think it is not against the rules, because he was HOD warrior, MANOWAR warrior!

I am so so so terribly sorry... I've met Joro at the MCF and I knew him on Facebook and here, he was such a nice, open hearted, warm person! I didn't realize he was ill, and now I can only regret I didn't get to know him better while he was still here :( I regret so much, that we'll never be able to make this Star Wars party after all... I don't have words to express how sorry I am... Rest in peace dear brother.

My condolences go to Joro's family and friends. This is horrible news, I talked with him a couple of times in Facebook and he seemed to be a very friendly and nice guy.

One day we'll meet again, brother.

vidharr:
I have already read the news.
Now I can only say... rest in peace Brother

RuXia:
I'm lost, sad, disoriented, shocked...We're with Alin now, just couldn't get into bed after having read this this devastating news. Tomorrow we'll head out to Sofia...

WitchMag:
Ruxia... :'( - just hugs to you.. to You both (You all his close friends).. Be strong,Sis!

Thunar:
My heart is with you all.
Please take care of yourselves on the road and be safe.
To all my friends here - you are all in my heart despite the distance.
Steve.

Thunar:
Being at Joro's place in Sofia was pretty amazing to me for a lot of reasons but what sticks in my mind beyond the hospitality of his lovely family was that he had a lot of the same books I loved to read in his bookshelf in Bulgarian. Lots of Terry Pratchett and other science fiction. I guess it was pretty cool meeting someone from such a different country who was into a lot of the same things beyond Manowar and the things I already knew we had in common. I don't know why this stuck in my mind - it is just strange how we connect with people in different ways. He was a very well read and sensitive guy - a loss to all those who knew him.
Steve.

Tulkas:
There is less goodness in the world now that Joro's gone. Strength for his family and all of us in these sad times.
